Shipping Policy
Currently, Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for specific products across Bangladesh.
For online deliveries, delivery charges/courier charges are applicable.
In Dhaka, Gazipur, Rangpur, Chattogram, and Khulna cities, we deliver products through our own courier service. In other cities, delivery is completed via third-party courier services.
For products delivered by courier, full or partial advance payment must be made via bKash, bank transfer, or online payment to confirm the order.
If the product price exceeds BDT 20,000 in Dhaka, Gazipur, Rangpur, Chattogram, or Khulna, partial payment may be required.
Customers must bear the full courier charge for products delivered via courier.
In areas where an additional fee is required for van entry, the customer must bear that charge. For example, in Baridhara DOHS, Mirpur DOHS, etc., a separate van entry fee applies, which will be added to the customer’s bill.
Currently, online delivery may take 1 to 3 days or more.
Customers must make payment within 3 days after receiving the payment confirmation SMS. If delayed, the product may go out of stock or the price may change.
If an ordered product is unavailable in stock, it may be replaced (with customer consent) or refunded.
Direct flat-to-door delivery is temporarily suspended. Customers must collect their products from the main gate of the building.
Within Dhaka Metro, the following areas are outside our own delivery coverage and served via courier:
Khilkhet beyond the railway line, Dholairpar, Demra, Bosila, Aminbazar, Beribadh, Purbachal, Nandipara, Pink City, Kawla, Lake City, Kamarpara, Balughat, Haji Market, Barontek, Bounia, Namapara, Kalibari, Bepari Market, Chandrima Udyan, Dhaka Udyan, Aftabnagar Block-F, and beyond Block-K of Bashundhara R/A.
Note: All inner sections of the above areas are also considered outside our own delivery coverage. Delivery is done through courier service in these areas. However, for large products (such as desktop PCs, laptops, TVs, ACs, refrigerators, large printers, photocopiers, etc.), we may arrange delivery through our own service under special conditions.
In Dhaka Metro, the following areas are outside our coverage: Uttarkhan, Dakshinkhan, and Haji Camp.
In Chattogram city, home delivery is available in specific areas: Agrabad, Chawkbazar, Dewanhat, Tigerpass, Lalkhan Bazar, WASA, GEC Circle, 2 No. Gate, Muradpur, Probortok Moor, Jamal Khan, Chawkbazar, Nasirabad Housing, Khatunganj, Asadganj, Katalganj, Kotwali, Andarkilla, Gani Bakery, Kazir Dewri, Mehedibagh, New Market, Kadamtali, Firingi Bazar, Madarbari, Barik Building, DC Hill, Eidgah, Boubazar, Pahartali, CDA Residential, Chatteswari, Boropul, Customs, Airport, Patenga, Naval, Steelmill, Freeport, Halishahar, Sagorika, Alankar, AK Khan, City Gate, CNB, Rastar Matha, Chandgaon Residential, Notun Bridge, Bahaddarhat, and Oxygen.
In Gazipur city, home delivery is available in specific areas: Takshal, Shimultoli, Audience, BOF, DUET, Mishtir, Joydebpur Bus Stand, Uttar Chhayabithi / Dakshin Chhayabithi, Jorpukur Moor, Rajdighi Par, Rajbari Math, Ranibilash Moni School, VAT-Tax & DC Office, Joydebpur Passport Office, Railway Station, Rother Khola, Sadar Hospital, Civil Surgeon Office, City Corporation, Post Office, Dhan Research, Agriculture Research, Palli Bidyut, Wireless Gate, Satellite Office, Great Wall City, Noljani, Cherag Ali (Beximco Pharma), College Gate (Suratranag Road / House Building / Shafiuddin Road), Bonmala Road (Dattapara House Building / BRAC Town).
Deliveries will be made on main roads and adjacent areas including: Hossain Market, Gazipura, Borobari, Targach, Board Bazar, Islamic University, Open University, National University, Signboard, Malek’s Bari, Columbia, Vogra, Bypass, Bhawal College, Nawjor, Kodda Bridge, Konabari Market, Central Mosque Konabari, Agricultural University, Hotapara, and Salna Bazar.
For international payments, customers must send a clear picture of the payment card and a valid ID (Voter ID/National ID/Driving License/Passport) to our official email or Facebook page. The picture must clearly show the first and last 4 digits of the card number.
No EMI facility is applicable for international cards.
No Star Points will be awarded on products purchased under special campaign offers, vouchers, or discounts. Likewise, coupons cannot be applied on already discounted products.
AC (Air Conditioners) can only be purchased through online orders.
We follow a Close Box Policy during delivery. Products cannot be opened at the time of delivery. Customers are requested to record a video while unboxing the product at home. In case of any issue, the customer must inform us within 24 hours along with the video.
If due to any technical error on the website, a product price does not match the current market price/maximum retail price, Star Tech reserves the right to cancel the order with or without prior notice to the customer.
Return & Exchange Policy

If a customer is buying the products from our shops, then please make sure to check the products in front of our sellers. Later, if any problems occur then the customer will not be entitled to any changes but will be given services based on the product provided a description.(Warranty)

In the case of ordering online, after receiving the product, if any manufacturing issues or problems are noticed or discovered than the customer has to inform us within 24 hours via our hotline service. However, the product must not be scratched and the product box must be intact otherwise it won't be returnable.

After receiving the online order product from the delivery man, if the box looks like it is not the product you ordered, then please do not open or damage the box if you open the box and use the product and destroy the box, the product will not be returnable.

If a customer received a manufacturing defective product then the customer has to visit any of our shops where our specialists will review the product first and then take the necessary steps to change the product if it is in need of replacement.

If a customer wants to change the defective product through our delivery service, then a charge Of TK. 200/- has to be paid as a replacement charge inside Dhaka and if out of Dhaka, only the Courier charge is applicable.

If a Customer is buying any product from our Website after reading the description and provided information about the particular product and is received successfully without any faults and later if the product is not compatible with your setup or if you do not want it anymore, then you will not be allowed to change or return the product.

After purchasing a software/software license, a return or refund won't be applicable

With specific reasoning, product(s) will be allowed to be returned and refunded back to you within 3 to 10 working days and in the case of online purchase, the procedure may take longer to execute.

Refund charges are applicable for All kinds of Mobile Financial Services/ Online Gateway / POS payment refunds.

If customers found broken or packet-damaged products then we are requesting not to receive the product from the courier service. If the customer receives courier damaged product then he/she has to take his/her own liability and any kind of complaint won't be acceptable.

If the honorable customer gets any cashback at the time of payment, the cashback amount will be deducted while making the refund.
