Terms & Conditions

Customer Care

Graingo always prioritizes its customers. However, in order to ensure better, faster, and more efficient service, certain rules and regulations must be followed. We kindly request all customers to carefully read and understand the following terms before purchasing computer products from Grabingo Ltd. Thank you.

Warranty Declaration

The warranties declared at the time of sale are primarily provided by the original product manufacturers. That means warranty service is carried out and honored by the respective brand companies. Since warranty terms vary from brand to brand, their official websites provide details of their specific conditions.

In this regard, Grabingo Ltd. acts as a facilitator, helping customers to avail warranty services according to the manufacturer’s policies.

General Warranty Policy

  • Grabingo Ltd. follows international, local, and Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) warranty policies for all products.

  • Warranty is essentially a contract between the manufacturer/importer and the buyer, under which the seller is responsible for repair or replacement of the defective product. Grabingo assists customers in this process by acting as a mediator.

  • Most imported products by Grabingo come with quick warranty support, and in some cases, immediate replacement is provided.

  • Not all products include a warranty. Only those specifically declared by the manufacturer carry warranty coverage.

  • Laptop warranties typically range from 1 to 3 years, depending on the brand and model. However, all laptop batteries and adapters have only 1-year warranty.

  • If a defect is found in a warranted product, it is either repaired or replaced (depending on product type and stock availability).

  • If the specific model is not available, Grabingo may replace it with an equivalent product from another brand.

  • If repair or replacement is not possible, Star Tech may offer a better model with price adjustment or provide a refund after depreciation adjustments.

  • Grabingo is not responsible for any software loss, corruption, or data deletion during use or servicing. Data recovery or software reinstallation is also not covered under warranty.

  • The servicing period for a product under warranty may vary. It can take 5–7 days to up to 35–40 days or more, depending on the availability of spare parts, many of which are imported.

  • Most warranty issues involve part replacement rather than repair, and parts are often sourced from abroad.

  • Customized system setup or operating system installations provided at the time of sale are not covered by warranty.

  • Lifetime warranty means service will be provided for as long as the product is considered a market-available item. If the product becomes obsolete (EOL – End of Life), it will no longer be covered. According to BCS policy, lifetime warranty service is valid for a maximum of 2 years.

  • Any service outside warranty coverage may incur charges, subject to customer approval.

  • If parts are required during warranty servicing, customers may either provide them directly or authorize Grabingo to procure them upon advance payment.

  • If problems arise due to free software or hardware tuning services provided by Star Tech during or after the warranty period, Grabingo will not be responsible.

  • Monitor dead pixel warranty claims require at least 3 visible dead pixels.

  • Customers must bring the original product box when submitting a product for warranty claims.

Warranty Will Not Apply (or Conditional) In The Following Cases

  • Damage caused by misuse, water, burns, breakage, accidents, or deep scratches.

  • If the product serial number or sticker is partially/fully removed, tampered, or damaged.

  • Motherboards, graphics cards, or RAM showing fungus, rust, or deep scratches will not be covered.

  • Motherboards or processors with broken, bent, or distorted pins will not be covered.

  • BIOS passwords are entirely the customer’s responsibility, as Star Tech does not apply any passwords/security codes on devices before delivery.

  • Apple MacBook warranty will not apply if the original operating system is deleted.

  • Printer consumables (cartridges, toners, heads, rollers, drums, maintenance boxes, etc.) are not covered by warranty.

  • If third-party ink or toner cartridges are used instead of manufacturer-specified ones, printer warranty will not apply.

  • For keyboard-mouse combo sets, the entire set must be presented for warranty claims. Only one part (keyboard/mouse) will not be accepted separately.

  • Adapters for printers, scanners, routers, switches, access points, TV cards, etc., are not covered by warranty.

  • If more than 2 months pass after a product is accepted for warranty/service, Grabingo will no longer be held responsible for it.

  • If the original warranty receipt is lost, the product must be presented with the purchase invoice or valid proof of purchase.
